Aston Villa are considering making a loan move for Eidur Gudjohnsen, according to The Sun.
The Icelandic striker spent the second half of the season on loan at Tottenham, where he helped the club qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Gudjohnsen, 31, has since returned to Monaco and despite Harry Redknapp stating that he’d like to keep the former Chelsea striker, nothing has been announced as of yet.
Villa boss Martin O’Neill is ready to make his move to bring Gudjohnsen back to England on another loan deal.
