Vincent Kompany has given a direct one-line response when asked about the speculation over the future of Tottenham legend Harry Kane.
We know that the speculation linking the England captain with a return to North London is not just paper talk anymore.
This is because Thomas Frank has admitted that he would love to have Kane back at Spurs if the striker wants to return to N17.
This is significant as Tottenham have a first refusal clause on Kane, with the Lilywhites thus set to be offered the striker before other clubs if he does decide to leave Bavaria.

Vincent Kompany refuses to discuss Harry Kane speculation amid Tottenham rumours
It is not like the 32-year-old would cost a fortune either. According to reports, Kane’s release clause drops to just £57m next summer.
However, the striker would have to inform Bayern about his decision to leave as early as January for the clause to become active.
Vincent Kompany has now refused to discuss the clause or the speculation over his star striker’s future.
When asked about the possibility of Kane leaving next summer, the Bayern boss simply told Kicker: “Harry is in an excellent phase. The last thing I want is to open the door to other discussions.”
What is Kane thinking about his future?
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Tottenham will activate their clause to sign Kane if the striker signals an interest in returning to the club next summer.
However, the journalist made it clear that for the moment, the former Spurs man is not thinking about the possibility of a move away from Bayern and is focused on winning the Champions League.
Other outlets have said that although the 32-year-old is keeping silent about his future, sources close to Kane have made it clear he wants to compete at the highest level and continue winning silverware.
