‘Wait, where is Son?’ – Some Spurs fans react to the starting XI against Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur take on Liverpool this afternoon, as they desperately attempt to put a stop to their winless run in the Premier League.

Despite overachieving in the Champions League, Spurs have lost three of their last four in the Prem, dropping 11 out of 12 points in the process.

With losses to Burnley, Chelsea, and Southampton, as well as a draw at home to Arsenal, Spurs have fallen from title contenders to top four maybes.

A win today would go a long way to securing a top four spot and Champions League next season, while a loss would really put the pressure on.

Pochettino had plenty of time to prepare for this match, with three weeks between this and Spurs’ last game.

He took the stars on a training camp in Barcelona before the international break, but with injuries to Dier, Winks, and Aurier, selection has still proved tricky.

Poch has gone for a back five, largely due to a lack of central midfield options, and has also dropped Son for Moura, perhaps due to the South Korean’s heavy travel over the past week.
