Much to many Tottenham fans’ delight, Tanguy Ndombele was caught on video joking and laughing with his teammates on the flight back to London from Manchester after Spurs demolished the Red Devils 6-1 on Sunday.
There was considerable speculation over the midfielder’s future during the summer (Calcio Mercato) after he struggled to make the expected impact in his first season at Tottenham.
However, the 23-year-old seems to have turned a corner this season as he has been more heavily involved at the start of the new campaign.
Ndombele admitted that he and Jose Mourinho had a few disagreements last season but have now put their egos to one side and are focused on helping the team to achieve their objectives (The Sun).
He was certainly on-song at Old Trafford as he dominated his French international teammate Paul Pogba in the midfield battle and also scored Tottenham’s early equaliser.
Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to a video doing the rounds on social media of Ndombele having a great time with his teammates on the flight back from Manchester:
Wonderful to see him happy and settled, such a big change of heart, confidence and performance! Agree with earlier post that Serge and Mousa are so good for Tanguy, we must keep them together as long as possible, they provide a great energy to the team #COYS

So good to see him smiling. He’s struggled to get into the team and get settled, now he’s really showing his quality and he looks happy. That makes a huge difference.

Spurs Web Opinion
Both Ndombele and Mourinho deserve a lot of credit for putting their issues behind them for the sake of the club. The Frenchman’s success at present shows players like Dele Alli that they have a shot at getting back into the team if they do what is demanded of them in training and in matches.
