Christian Eriksen made his intentions clear earlier this week when he revealed that he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer in order to seek a new challenge elsewhere, whilst also naming Real Madrid as a potential destination (Ekstra Bladet).
talkSPORT radio presenters Adrian Durham and Darren Gough have claimed that it is no surprise that the Dane wants to end his six-year spell in North London if he wants to win silverware in his career.
Durham stated that the culture of trying to get into the top four of the Premier League is now deemed success for Spurs. Instead, they believe that Eriksen wants to actually win trophies rather than be viewed as successful given Spurs’ progress over the past few seasons.
“It’s not rocket science. He’s been there 6 years and hasn’t won anything.”
“The desperation is there to go and almost be guaranteed winning stuff.”

There’s no doubt that Christian Eriksen wants out of Spurs and now it’s a matter of Daniel Levy trying to get the best price for him. We want players at our club who want to help bring the glory, glory days back. Eriksen has thrown in the towel, thanks for the memories.
