Watch angry Micky Van de Ven confront Tottenham fans after more boos for Thomas Frank

Tottenham Hotspur’s latest defeat was followed by a toxic full-time atmosphere, with frustration spilling from the stands and onto the pitch as the pressure around Thomas Frank continues to intensify.

It was more misery for Thomas Frank’s side, who fell to their eighth Premier League defeat of the season at the Vitality Stadium against Bournemouth.

The Cherries had been without a win in their last 12 outings, but showed enough fight and spirit to put that barren spell behind them with a 3-2 victory over Frank’s Spurs.

Tottenham started as the brighter of the two sides, with Mathys Tel handing them an early lead, but poor defending from Pedro Porro, Wilson Odobert and Micky van de Ven allowed Bournemouth to turn the game on its head, leaving Spurs without a league win so far this year.

Thomas Frank booed as Tottenham players confront fans at full-time

Frustration continues to grow among Tottenham supporters, many of whom remain unconvinced by Thomas Frank’s tenure.

The Dane has often been booed, and at full-time against Bournemouth, it was more of the same from the travelling Spurs fans, who made their feelings clear.

This time, however, the anger appeared to spill onto the pitch, with Porro, van de Ven and Palhinha seen confronting away supporters at the final whistle.

Spurs run the risk of another bottom half of the table finish under Frank

It is turning into a mess at Tottenham, who now find themselves edging closer to a relegation scrap with each passing week.

Spurs sit 14th in the table, with just six points separating them from 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.

Frank was hired to turn Tottenham’s fortunes around, but the current trajectory suggests another 17th-place finish cannot be ruled out.
