Fernando Llorente has this season popped up with two crucial goals for Tottenham Hotspur during the Champions League campaign.

The former World Cup winner scored a late goal in our 3-0 win against Borussia Dortmund in February which helped to put the round of sixteen tie in February.

Llorente started last night’s quarter final second leg against Manchester City on the bench, but was brought on earlier than many had expected when Moussa Sissoko suffered a groin injury in the 41st minute.

The striker popped up with what proved to be a crucial and controversial goal when he bundled the ball home from a corner in the 73rd minute.

After the match, Llorente spoke to Spurs TV and admitted that it was one of the best moments in his career.
