Jermaine Jenas was left struggling to put into words the heroics of Tottenham Hotspur moments after they had produced a dramatic victory over Ajax in the Champions League semi final second leg.

The former Spurs midfielder took to Instagram live to share his thoughts on the historic win which will see Mauricio Pochettino’s side take part in an all-English final against Liverpool on June 1st in Madrid.

Jenas claimed that he had not witnessed anything like the events that unfolded at the Johan Cruyff Arena and urged those who follow the club to enjoy the moment.

It’s always fantastic to see how much such a monumental win means to a player who has worn the lilywhite shirt. The passion for Spurs certainly still runs deep in Jenas’ veins.

  1. Tottenham aren’t a team for the faint hearted, though they are a team to respect and support, in my opinion they are ( or at least ) should be role models, in all aspects of life, particularly “ grass roots football”. To show and encourage young teams, this is the rewards they will achieve , with heart and passion, they can also achieve this accolade.COYS
