Tottenham Hotspur have suffered an FA Cup third-round defeat at the hands of Aston Villa, and Joao Palhinha displayed his anger shortly after the full-time whistle was sounded.
Tottenham Hotspur are out of the FA Cup, which means it is highly unlikely they will win silverware in two consecutive seasons.
Spurs made a terrible start to their third-round tie with Aston Villa and were already two goals down at the break. However, there was a lot more to shout about in the second half when Wilson Odobert reduced the deficit.
Despite this, Tottenham were unable to complete a full comeback and have once again been dumped out of the FA Cup by Unai Emery’s team.

Joao Palhinha picks a fight with Ollie Watkins after Tottenham defeat
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins wasted no time getting the celebrations underway after the referee blew his whistle to end the game.
The 30-year-old walked towards the away supporters with his fists raised in the air, but he did so while walking in the direction of Joao Palhinha.
This did not go down well with the Spurs midfielder, who shoved Watkins, causing a chain reaction which saw other players join in with the brawl.
Palhinha was unable to repeat his heroics at Bournemouth
It is understandable to see Palhinha frustrated, especially after his superb overhead kick was not enough to win Tottenham any points against Bournemouth earlier in the week.
The Portugal star did not get on the scoresheet again on Saturday night, but he did win more duels than any other player, as he so often does.
Palhinha was at the heart of a few controversial moments against Villa, including a tackle that led to an early injury for Komara and a crunching challenge on Morgan Rogers, for which he was booked. However, many Spurs fans will see it as a return to form for the on-loan Bayern Munich man.
