Watch: Jose Mourinho performs his famous knee-slide celebration after late winner

Jan Vertonghen headed Spurs to victory in dramatic circumstances late into the game against Wolves to spark celebratory scenes among the players.

It wasn’t just on the Molineux pitch where the celebrations occurred, Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho was captured on camera sliding on his knees in joy and pumped his fists to show just how much the victory meant to him.

Mourinho is promptly proving himself among the North London fanbase despite his previous links with Chelsea.

The Portuguese will have the opportunity next Sunday to get one over his former employer when both sides meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Victory for Spurs would see them go level with Chelsea in the Premier League table and spark a remarkable transformation since taking over from Mauricio Pochettino, who departed with the club in fourteenth place.

Chelsea suffered a surprise defeat on Saturday when they lost 1-0 at home to Bournemouth.
