Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel believes that it still remains to be seen whether Mauricio Pochettino will win a trophy with the North London side following the Champions League final defeat at the hands of Liverpool.

Friedel, who also played for Liverpool during his career admitted that it is only a matter of time before Pochettino will taste glory, but does not know if it will be at Tottenham which is certainly a worrying comment for lilywhite fans to hear.

Pochettino once again refused to comment on his future at the club after the match at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium (Daily Mail).

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Maine is a cheat, he chipped the ball up on to the chest/shoulder of the Spurs player then alone appealed for a penalty and got it. That is cheating which VAR should have detected

  2. The worst of it is, if Poch goes to a club willing to back him in the transfer market, and Poch has had a substantial hand in helping Spurs raise revenues with successive Champs League qualifications and consistent high finishes, we will see how we missed out. He will be almost impossible to replace. Sickening after he implemented if he is backed with funds, he will be around for a long while. Shit could well hit the fan, Levy. COYS!
