‘We actually look like a football team again’ – Some fans on first half against West Ham

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on social media with their thoughts on the first-half performance they have witnessed against West Ham United this evening.

Harry Kane had the first clear chance of the game on eleven minutes when Lucas Moura did superbly well to bring the ball under control and play a curling pass to feed the striker, who saw his shot parried away to safety by Areola.

Tottenham took the lead on 29 minutes following some good link up play between Steven Bergwijn and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but were pegged back just three minutes later through a well-taken effort from Jarrod Bowen.

The North Londoners went ahead once again when a brilliant mazy run from Bergwijn saw the Dutchman pull the ball back into the path of Lucas Moura to finish from inside the penalty area.
