Some Spurs fans are extremely nervous ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Turf Moor this evening after almost all of the Lilywhites’ top-six rivals dropped points over the weekend.
Liverpool were the only ‘big six’ club to pick up all three points over the weekend, with Manchester United and Chelsea playing out a draw, Man City taking just a point off West Ham, and Arsenal losing at home to Leicester City.
Even Aston Villa and Everton, who were riding high coming into the weekend, suffered their first defeats of the campaign against Leeds and Southampton respectively.
Jose Mourinho’s men thus have a golden opportunity to move up several places in the table with three points against Burnley this evening.
Sean Dyche’s men have started the season poorly and find themselves in the relegation zone coming into the game.
However, some Spurs fans fear the worst given the North Londoners’ poor record of capitalising on other teams’ results, especially after what happened against West Ham last week.
