‘We believe we can beat them’ – Poch on the Champions League draw

Tottenham Hotspur pulled off one of the greatest Champions League turn arounds in recent history this season as they qualified for the last 16.

After three games, Tottenham had just the single point in their group and sat joint bottom with PSV.

They looked all but out of the competition, needing a near perfect run to snatch any chance of qualification for the knock out rounds.

Spurs then beat PSV and Inter Milan at home, before travelling to the Camp Nou and grabbing a point late on in the match.

PSV held Inter to a draw at the San Siro, and Spurs saw their unlikely name drop into the pot for the next round.

Yesterday, Spurs found out that they would be playing Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16, a team that sit top of the German league.

Dortmund are familiar foes as Spurs beat them both home and away in the group stage last season.

Poch said (Football London):  “You never know if it’s good or not good. The last 16 you will face a good team. They are doing fantastic in the Bundesliga. It was tough when we went there. It will be exciting for us and them too. Of course, we believe we can beat them.”
