Some Tottenham fans on social media have urged the club to move quick to sign Reading’s highly-rated Michael Olise during the January transfer window after it emerged that he reportedly on the club’s radar.
After making a very good impression with the Reading first-team last season, the 19-year-old has hit even greater heights at the start of this campaign.
The attacking midfielder has arguably been one of the best players in the Championship this season and his performances are reportedly turning a lot of heads in the top flight (TEAMtalk).
The Athletic reported last week that Tottenham have been monitoring Olise for a long time and that the Frenchman has an £8m release clause in his contract with the Royals.
Some Spurs fans believe that at a deal to sign the youngster for £8m is a no-brainer and urged the club to act quickly to avoid losing him to another Premier League club such as the likes of Eberechi Eze and Jarrod Bowen.
Looks very good. Surely doable at that price!

Take the opportunity.
We've missed it when looking at proven Championship talent. Just remember Grealish, Maddison, Eze and Bowen. All great players playing we in the Premier League.
Take the chance. @SpursOfficial 🙏🏼 https://t.co/cM671VOEjk

Spurs Web Opinion
Whether or not Olise is ready to come in and make an impact straight away, I am convinced that he is eventually going to develop into a top-class player. So the deal certainly looks like a no brainer but I suspect that an attacking midfielder/wide player is not high in the list of Jose Mourinho’s priorities in January.
