Tottenham insist they have not made any bids for Palermo duo Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini claimed Spurs had made a 35million euro offer for the pair.
“Palermo’s claims are inaccurate. We have not bid for these players,” said a spokesman for Tottenham.

Thought it seemed strange to pay so much money in an area we are strongish- especially in central defence. We should allow Kaboul to develop there and I believe Charlie. We certainly need big money spent on our attack.
It would seem strange to buy yet another central defender. Spurs have officially denied the report, too. Let's see if Jonathan Woodgate can play this season or not, and then I'm sure Harry Redknapp will make a decision as to whether to buy another central defender. For the time being, I don't believe this is an accurate report.
