Lucas Bergvall admits that all is well between him and Guglielmo Vicario after the Tottenham goalkeeper shouted at him ferociously on the pitch during the 1-1 draw against Leicester City.
Lucas Bergvall got an angry telling-off
Spurs had let their lead slip despite dominating proceedings at the King Power Stadium in their opening game of the season, with Jamie Vardy equalising for the home side.
As the Lilywhites were throwing bodies forward in search of a winner, they almost conceded late on, owing to a mistake by Bergvall, who had come on as a substitute for his Premier League debut.
The Swede inexplicably decided to dribble his way out of trouble in Tottenham’s own third and lost the ball, with Vicario having to intervene to prevent the Foxes from taking the lead.
The goalkeeper was not happy with the 18-year-old, screaming at the youngster with a face like thunder after making the save.
Vicario and Bergvall are on good terms
The Tottenham number one has since revealed that he apologised to the youngster and admitted that he was perhaps too aggressive in the heat of the moment (The Daily Star).
When asked about that touchy moment on his Spurs debut, Bergvall has now told Aftonbladet: “Sometimes you do slightly worse things, sometimes you do better things. We were 1-0 up with a fairly comfortable lead.
“We conceded 1-1 and then that happens [when he lost the ball]. All is calm now. We have talked about it. Vicario said that there are hot feelings and things like that that happen.”

These sorts of verbal altercations are quite common in dressing rooms and I am sure that Bergvall would have realised what he did wrong and will learn from his mistake.
