“We have to believe” – Spurs attacker issues rallying cry ahead of big games

The next few weeks will define not just Tottenham’s entire season but also have a bearing on the club’s long term progress. Tottenham have some crucial Premier League games coming up over the next few weeks that will have a major impact of the club’s chances of finishing in the top 4.

With Tottenham set to play their first full season at the new stadium, it is vitally important that they qualify for the Champions League. Spurs will resume Premier League action when they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Sunday.

Additionally, Spurs also have the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Man City to look forward to with the first leg set to be held at the new stadium on the 10th of April.

Speaking ahead of the important run of games Tottenham attacker Lucas Moura has insisted that he believes that the team can finish strongly.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Moura said, “I believe in this team.. We are still third in the Premier League. We’ve been up there all season and there are a lot of teams who can challenge for the top four, but we are there. We are also in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. We have to believe.”

The Brazilian who started the season in blistering form has been a bit more inconsistent off late. However, the 26-year-old said he has been happy with what has been his first full season in English football.
