Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the first half performance against Norwich City.
Antonio Conte made just one change to his starting eleven which beat Brentford with Emerson Royal ruled out through illness, which saw Japhet Tanganga deputise at right-back.
Spurs went ahead in the ninth minute courtesy of a brilliant long-range strike from Lucas Moura which found the top corner of Tim Krul’s net.
The home side came close to a second in the 34th minute when a quality delivery from Heung-min Son caused havoc in the penalty area and Ben Davies could not reach the ball to tap home.
Harry Kane, who has just one Premier League goal all season had his best opportunity to break his barren spell when he chipped Krul from 30-odd yards after a quick counter from Son and Lucas, only to see his effort drop wide of the post.
Here is a selection of thoughts from some Spurs fans on what they have witnessed in the opening forty five minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Skipps been impeccable once again! Also what a goal from Lucas who’s also been brilliant and imo we’ve been dominant.

We have to kill this game ASAP. Sanchez looks like a disaster waiting to happen and we’ve not controlled the game as much as we should be. #THFC

Deserve to be in front but we should be at least 2 ahead. Much better again. #COYS

Oliver Skipp is just getting better and better and better every game.

Another decent first half. Creating lots of half chances that a side with this quality up top should probably be converting a bit more.
Again, it's progress and that's as much as we can demand at this point. #TOTNOR #thfc
