“We need 11 of you” – Some fans react to apology from Spurs player

Some Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter after Moussa Sissoko posted a message of apology following the 3-0 loss to Brighton.

The 30-year-old was asked to play at right-back by Mauricio Pochettino for the match on the south coast and was unable to help to inspire his team-mates to victory.

After Tuesday night’s humiliating 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League there was no glint of the players showing any fight to return to winning ways.

The defeat to the Seagulls means that Tottenham’s long-awaited search for an away win still stems back to January.

Many Spurs fans were appreciative of the fact that the Frenchman had taken the time and effort to explain what he believes is happening whilst also urging the fans to stay united given the fact that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have only taken 11 points from a possible 24 this term.

Here is how some Spurs fans reacted.
