‘We need a new midfield badly’ – Some fans react to the Spurs team v Leicester

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Antonio Conte’s team selection for this evening’s Premier League match against Leicester City.

Tottenham head into the fixture in sixth place in the table knowing that a victory over Brendan Rodgers’ side would leapfrog rivals Arsenal.

Conte’s men did not play at the weekend due to the controversial postponement of the north London derby while the Foxes are also off the back of a Covid-enforced break, having seen Saturday’s game against Burnley called off.

The Italian has decided to pick a midfield trio of Oliver Skipp, Harry Winks and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, which is devoid of creativity while Sergio Reguilon returns in the left wing-back role.

Tanguy Ndombele is left out once again, while young striker Dane Scarlett is named among the substitutes (Spurs official).
