“We need Dele back” – Some Spurs fans react to first-half display against West Brom

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the club’s first half performance against West Bromwich Albion.

Following the toothless display many witnessed against Chelsea on Thursday evening, the North London faithful were certainly expecting a vast improvement against the Baggies.

Tottenham began the game with more attacking intent and the returning Harry Kane showed some elements of rust following his ankle injury after spurning three good chances in the opening twenty minutes.

Jose Mourinho has had his team set up in a more attacking manner and has been urging his players to press the opponent when they are in possession.

Despite dominating proceeding, Spurs were unable to break and deadlock and Sam Allardyce’s side came close to scoring on the cusp of half time if not for a great save from Hugo Lloris.

This is what some of the Spurs supporter base has had to say about the opening period of play.
