Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Lucas Moura took to social media to express their delight after Tottenham sealed their place in the EFL Cup final with a 2-0 win over Brentford on Tuesday.
Thomas Frank’s side had already knocked out four Premier League sides from the competition coming into the semi-finals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday.
Jose Mourinho certainly did not take Brentford lightly as he named a near full-strength side for the clash.
While the away side gave a decent account of themselves, Spurs were always in control after going ahead early through a Moussa Sissoko header.
Mourinho’s men suffered a brief scare in the second half as Brentford equalised, only for VAR to rule the goal offside.
Son Heung-min then sealed Tottenham’s progression into the final with a well taken second goal with twenty minutes left on the clock.
Here’s how some of the Spurs stars reacted to sealing their place in the Carabao Cup final:

Spurs Web Opinion
The Tottenham stars were taking this competition seriously right from our first game against Chelsea, which has not always been the case in previous years. Winning the League Cup would certainly come as a big boost and could potentially give the players the confidence they need to go after bigger honours this season.
