West Ham player reacts to Spurs midfielder’s performance in Europe

Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria and West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini have both taken to social media to react to Giovani Lo Celso’s post on Instagram after the Spurs midfielder found the back of the net in Tottenham’s 3-1 win over Ludogorets on Thursday.

Lo Celso was arguably Tottenham’s best player on the night with the midfielder showing glimpses of his creative best, starting in the number ten role in place of Tanguy Ndombele.

The Argentine, who has been finding his way back from an injury lay-off, showed signs of being back to his best as he tried to make things happen every time he got the ball.

His goal which arrived just past the hour mark helped put the game beyond doubt for the North Londoners.

Jose Mourinho revealed after the game that he was pleased with Lo Celso’s display in possession but insisted that the midfielder still had some work to do to get back to his sharpest (Football.London).

The Argentine took to Instagram after the game to post a picture of his celebration, with the caption: “Happy to score, but even happier for the team’s win in a tough stadium. #COYS”

While Lanzini commented, “Lindaaaa pichichiiii” (beautiful goalscorer), Di Maria responded with “Buena guacho” (good guacho).
