West Ham to make late move for Tottenham striker

West Ham have been linked with a late move for Spurs striker Fernando Llorente, according to the Daily Mail.

Although Llorente would be available to West Ham on a loan move, it is believed the Hammers could be made to pay a £7m fee to sign permanently.

The Spanish striker scored one Premier League goal last campaign in his 26 appearances.

His first season with the Lilywhites was a disappointing one, to say the least, but the 33-year-old has shown his desire to step up and provide backup for Harry Kane.

Llorente played an important role in Tottenham’s pre-season tour of the USA but his performances were very much typical of the Llorente Spurs fans have become accustomed to.

The striker bagged two goals in Spurs’ first pre-season game against AS Roma and then did not get a sniff for the remainder of the International Champions Cup.

Spurs fans, do you want to see the Spanish striker stay or would you cut ties and give Vincent Janssen another chance?
