‘What a performance’ – Some Spurs fans convinced on-loan player is exactly what they need

Some Tottenham fans on social media were blown away by Oliver Skipp’s performance against Millwall on Tuesday after Norwich City were held to a 1-1 draw at the Den.

Skipp has adapted seamlessly to the Championship since making the move to Carrow Road in the summer and has quickly become one of the most important players for Daniel Farke’s side.

The midfielder’s consistent displays in the base of midfield are one of the key reasons the Canaries are now sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table.

Skipp put in another mature display against Millwall as the on-loan Tottenham man put in a solid shift in front of the back four and started off a number of Norwich’s counter-attacks.

On the back of Skipp’s performance, some Spurs fans are convinced that the 20-year-old is set to become a future star, while others have insisted that the youngster is already a superior player to Harry Winks.

Skipp seems to be getting better with each game for Norwich and I fully expect him to nail down a starting spot at Tottenham next season. I am extremely excited to see what a midfield three of Skipp, Hojbjerg and Ndombele can do.
