Micky Hazard heaps praise on Spurs star after Palace display

Tottenham’s 4-0 thumping of Crystal Palace on Saturday was just what the doctor ordered for the club after their disappointing start to the season.

The performance from Spurs, particularly in the first half, was absolutely electrifying, with the visitors struggling to cope with the wave after wave of attacks from the Lilywhites.

It was indeed a complete performance from Pochettino’s men, with some absolutely brilliant displays from back to front.

Former Tottenham midfield Micky Hazard has picked out one player for special praise after the win – Heung Min Son, who netted a brace in the match. The South Korean put in a typically industrious and skilful display combined with some deadly finishing.

He got in behind Mamadou Sakho and finished excellently to give Spurs the lead and then met Serge Aurier’s deep cross with a thumping volley to score his second and Tottenham’s third of the game.

Hazard took to social media after the game to reveal how much he loved watching the 27-year-old play for Spurs.

We must consider ourselves extremely lucky to have Son Heung-Min in our squad. Not only does the South Korean have the talent to get into most teams in world football but he is also humble, plays the game with a fantastic attitude. He certainly seems to be loving life and Spurs and hopefully, he will stay in North London for the foreseeable future.
