‘What a player’ – Some fans are left impressed by performance of Spurs teenager

Some football fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Oliver Skipp’s performance for Norwich City against against Huddersfield Town yesterday.

Skipp was handed his full Championship debut by Canaries boss Daniel Farke for the clash at The John Smith’s Stadium.

The 19-year-old joined Norwich City on a season long loan deal in August after he penned a new three-year contract with the option of a fourth year (Sky Sports).

The midfielder was his industrious self in the middle of the park and showed great composure on the ball and tenacity in the tackle when it was required.

Mourinho revealed that it was Skipp who wanted to head out on loan to gain further first-team experience with the Portuguese admitting that he was happy to keep him as part of his squad for the season ahead (Evening Standard).

The teenager is held in high regard by the Spurs head coach, who has described Skipp as a future Tottenham captain.
