Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are still having a hard time believing that Gareth Bale is set to run out in a Spurs shirt this season, playing under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho.
With many of Tottenham’s first-team stars away on international duty, Bale is continuing his rehabilitation at Hotspur Way under the watchful eyes of Mourinho and his coaching staff.
Previous reports indicated that Welshman was targeting a return to action after the international break, with Mourinho admitting that he was hopeful that the 31-year-old will not take too long to get back to match fitness (Guardian).
Those who remained at Hotspur Way this week, including Lucas Moura, Carlos Vinicius, Tanguy Ndombele, Moussa Sissoko and Bale, were pictured being put through their paces.
Predictably, it was images of Mourinho alongside Bale that triggered the most emotional response from Tottenham fans, with many admitting that they cannot wait to see him step back on to the pitch.
