Tottenham legends took on their Inter Milan counter parts at the new stadium yesterday, in what was the second test event held at the venue.
The 62,062 capacity stadium is set to host Premier League and Champions League games from next month..
50,000 Spurs fans turned up yesterday to watch the likes of Paul Gascoigne, Jurgen Klinsmann, Jürgen Klinsmann, Rafael van der Vaart, Robbie Keane and several other former greats in action.
While Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Teemu Tainio, and Allan Nielsen, all got on the score sheet, the Tottenham legends ended up losing the game 5-4 courtesy of a late winner by the visitors.
The defeat did nothing to dampen the spirit of the occasion as all the players involved as well as the fans thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Some of the Spurs legends who were involved in the game took to social media rave about the stadium and express how it felt to be back at N17.
Ok so the day was just amazing for us all yesterday, never felt so proud of my club but it’s back to business today, we need to win. Good luck to the boys at Liverpool we need to be at our very best. BELIEVE COYSSSS
