Tottenham legend Ossie Ardlies was impressed by what he saw from his former side at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday as he hailed the impact that Ange Postecoglou has had since arriving at the club.
Spurs, who had struggled away from home for much of last season, produced an extremely dominant display at Bournemouth as they completely controlled the game barring a brief 15-minute spell at the start of the second half.
The away side emerged 2-0 winners, with James Maddison opening his account for the club on 17 minutes before Dejan Kulusevski put the game out of reach for the Cherries with a smart finish just past the hour after some neat interplay between Destiny Udogie and Son Heung-min down the left.
Spurs fans are certainly loving the football that their team is now producing, with the travelling section singing ‘We got our Tottenham back’ yesterday.
Ossie Ardiles is happy to see the real Tottenham back
Ardlies, who met Postecoglou earlier this week at Hotspur Way, is also over the moon with how the Lilywhites’ style of play, admitting that he is delighted to see that the team is back playing the ‘Tottenham way’.
What a very good win and a very enjoyable game to watch as well. Congratulations to Ange and the boys. Very confident performance from everybody. What a transformation in such short period of time. The "Tottenham way". COYS https://t.co/7ow7i946hw

Spurs Web Opinion
The way the mood around Tottenham has changed completely over the last couple of months shows the importance of playing the right way.
While one can argue that the game is ultimately about winning, the reality is that it is extremely difficult to win silverware and only a couple of teams will be successful in doing so each season.
It is thus imperative that one’s team plays attacking football so that fans can go into each game knowing that their side will give it a good go.
