Tottenham Hotspur may face a challenge attracting Archie Gray’s younger brother, Harry, to the club, with the teenager not keen on leaving Leeds United for the time being.
Some eyebrows were raised when Spurs paid £40m to sign Archie Gray from Leeds last summer, but that has proven to be money well spent, with the teenager impressing in his first year in North London.
It turns out that the Lilywhites have their eye on another member of the Gray family, with reports indicating last season that Tottenham had extensively scouted Harry Gray.
The 16-year-old striker has made waves in youth football, but he has only made one senior appearance for Leeds, and is still waiting for his Premier League debut since the club’s promotion.

Harry Gray is not expected to leave Leeds United yet
It has now been revealed by Graeme Bailey that the young striker’s father, Andy, wants him to remain at Leeds and continue his development at the Yorkshire club.
The journalist asserted that the centre-forward is likely to sign his first professional contract at Elland Road when he turns 17.
When asked about Harry Gray’s future, Bailey told Leeds United News: “It’s a big month ahead for Leeds and Harry Gray. He’s a huge young talent. I’m not expecting him to go anywhere else anytime soon. His dad, Andy, is very happy where he is now, in terms of club and in terms of his development and the handling of it.
“I’d be very surprised if Leeds lost Gray in the next month or so in time for that senior contract. It’s my understanding that he will stay for that first contract and sign terms when he’s 17. And then see how that plays out, really. Leeds is a good place to progress. He knows it and so does his dad.”
Tottenham lead two Premier League rivals in Harry Gray race
It was revealed by TBR Football earlier this year that Tottenham are facing competition from Arsenal and Newcastle for Harry Gray.
The report explained that Spurs have an advantage over the Magpies and the Gunners as they could use Archie’s help to persuade his younger brother to come to Hotspur Way.
One would hope that seeing his older brother get minutes and progress at Tottenham may tempt the 16-year-old to make the move to N17.
