Unfortunately, despite some good performances, Tottenham left themselves a lot to do after three games in the Champions League this season.
Spurs led late on against both Inter Milan and PSV, but ended up dropping points to both.
They also pushed Barcelona close, but some Messi brilliance saw off the North Londoners 4-2.
After three matches, Tottenham had only a point to their name, making qualification from the group all but a dream.
However, after a win against PSV last time out, that dream is still alive.
Tottenham need a win against Inter Milan this evening, and a winning margin of at least two goals to ensure their head-to-head record surpasses the Italians’.
This will give Pochettino’s men a slim chance of qualifying second, taking it down to the final match away to Barcelona.

But for now, beating Inter by two goals is the aim of the game.
