Rafael Leao is extremely keen on completing a move to Tottenham Hotspur after the Lilywhites expressed an interest in the AC Milan star.
Spurs have held talks with Milan over Leao as Roberto De Zerbi’s side scour the market for a new left-winger.
It was reported by TEAMtalk a couple of days ago that the Portugal internaitonal had informed Tottenham he is willing to join them when the Lilywhites reached out to his camp.
However, the outlet explained that Spurs do not expect the deal to be straightforward and believe it will involve ‘substantial negotiations’ with the Rossoneri.
Rafael Leao is willing to wait to make Tottenham move a reality
Journalist Daniele Longo has now also confirmed that the 27-year-old is attracted by the idea of joining the North London club, even though they are not involved in European competitions next season.
He added that Leao’s goal is to play in the Premier League and that the winger is prepared to be patient in order to seal a move to N17.
Longo has said on his YouTube channel: “Leao’s desire is to reach the Premier League, and he is also willing to wait for Tottenham. Tottenham is a welcome destination. If the rumours in the last few weeks turn into concrete offers of €60million, Leao is ready to say yes to Tottenham, even if he will not make it to the Champions League.”

Portugal bowed out of the World Cup in the round of 16 stage after being beaten 1-0 by Spain, which means that Leao can now focus on sorting out his club future.
The Independent reported last week that Roberto De Zerbi wants all of his key signings to be completed in time for pre-season.
If Spurs do hold a serious interest in Leao, one would expect the Lilywhites to accelerate their efforts to land him over the next few days.
