Ryan Sessegnon has taken to Twitter to express his delight after scoring the winning goal in Hoffenheim’s match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Sessegnon was named in the starting eleven for the eighth successive Bundesliga match (transfermarkt) and saw his side go a goal down when Lars Stindl scored from the penalty spot.
Hoffenheim levelled the score on 75 minutes through former Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric.
With four minutes remaining a cross into the Mönchengladbach evaded all apart from Sessegnon at the back post, who took one touch of the ball before slotting it into the back of the net with his left foot.
After struggling for regular first team football at Tottenham last season following his switch from Fulham, Sessegnon has caught the eye with his performances in Germany.
The England Under-21 international has scored twice in the Bundesliga in ten outings while also delivering two assists.
Sessegnon labelled the win as an important three points while also praising the second half performance of his side.
Kill em with success 💥
