A report has shed light on what the Tottenham Hotspur squad think of Igor Tudor as they contemplate sacking the Croat, less than a month after his appointment.

Tottenham’s decision to replace Thomas Frank with Tudor was deemed a gamble by some, given the former Juventus boss’s lack of experience in the Premier League.

That gamble has most certainly not worked, with the Lilywhites having lost all four of their games under their new interim boss.

Spurs are on the brink of elimination from the Champions League and sit just a point off the relegation zone, with Tottenham thought to be holding talks over Tudor’s future at the club.

The Tottenham squad have no faith in Igor Tudor

The Telegraph have revealed that the 47-year-old has already lost the support of the Tottenham dressing room.

The report says that the Spurs players have ‘no faith’ in Tudor, who has failed to bond with the squad since arriving at Hotspur Way.

It is explained that while the players accept their role in the team’s struggles, they have been ‘shocked’ by the Croat’s approach and decisions.

Well-placed sources at the club suggest that Tudor’s failure to acknowledge Antonin Kinsky after taking him off against Atletico Madrid was ‘the final straw’ between the interim boss and his players.

One source is quoted as saying about the former Juventus head coach: “There is hardly anybody, if anybody at all, in that dressing room who has any faith in him.”

Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange facing ‘difficult questions’ at Spurs

The Telegraph reveal that it is at the recommendation of Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange that the Lewis family sacked Thomas Frank and installed Tudor.

They are the ones who will now decide whether the club needs to appoint another head coach, but the Tottenham CEO and sporting director are facing scrutiny over their decision-making.

It is revealed that if they are forced to admit that they made an error regarding Tudor, Venkatesham and Lange could face ‘difficult questions internally’.
