When is the Champions League draw and who is in each pot?

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to go one better in the Champions League this season after finishing as runners-up last year.

Spurs managed to escape from Group C with Barcelona, PSV, and Inter Milan, before knocking out Borussia Dortmund, Man City, and Ajax en route to the final.

However, Liverpool proved to be a step too far for Pochettino’s men as they lost the match in Madrid by two goals to nil.

It’s all about improving and growing though, after all, Liverpool finished second in the 2017/18 season and then went on to win it the very next year.

The group stage draw for the 2019/20 Champions League campaign will take place on August 29 in Monaco and can be watched on BT Sport or on UEFA’s website.

While only pot one is fully confirmed at this stage, The Standard have estimated what the final pots will look like.
