When Spurs will find out their Carabao Cup quarter-final opponent

The club have revealed that the draw for the quarter final of the Carabao Cup will be held this evening after Liverpool’s fourth-round clash against Arsenal.

Tottenham were awarded a bye into the fourth round after their third-round tie against Leyton Orient was called off, following a spate of positive coronavirus tests at the League Two club.

Spurs put in an impressive second half performance to overcome London rivals Chelsea in the fourth round after coming from a goal behind to draw the game and prevailed on penalties.

The win saw Jose Mourinho’s men book a place in the final eight of the competition, meaning that the club are potentially just three rounds away from lifting a trophy.

Tottenham can now put this competition on the back burner for a couple of months and focus on the Premier League and Europa League, with the quarter final scheduled for the week commencing 21 December.

Spurs will learn who they will face, tonight with former Spurs midfielder Jamie Redknapp set to conduct the draw live on Sky Sports after the game at Anfield.
