When Spurs will know their full Premier League schedule for the 2020/21 season

There are now only a few days to go before the Tottenham Hotspur first-team players return to Hotspur Way for pre-season training.

Jose Mourinho will be hoping that his squad will come back fully refreshed after what was a long and hard campaign.

Spurs face a nightmare start to the campaign when they face the prospect of playing three Europa League qualifiers, the first of which will be held on September 17th, just a few days after Spurs begin their Premier League campaign.

The Lilywhites not only have to balance their league fixtures with their European adventures but with the third and fourth round of the Carabao Cup also scheduled for the end of September, the schedule could get extremely crowded indeed.

This is why the Lilywhites will be hoping that they get handed a favourable start to the Premier League season, with winnable fixtures in the first few weeks.

The first four match days which are scheduled for the weekends beginning on September 12, September 19, September 26 and October 3, could be quite challenging for Mourinho’s men who could get only two to three days between matches.

Sky Sports have confirmed that Tottenham will learn of who and when they will play when the full Premier League fixture list is released at 9 am on August 21.

Spurs Web Opinion

There are obviously no easy games in the Premier League and it will be difficult no matter who we play in the first few weeks. However, with the crazy schedule we have, Mourinho will have to rotate his squad a lot to avoid injuries. Hopefully, we face off against bottom-half sides instead of one of the so-called ‘big six’ during the first few weeks of the campaign.
