We are only a month into the new Premier League season, but the biggest game of the year has already arrived. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming North London derby.
The fierce rivalry between Tottenham and Arsenal has ramped up in recent years as the Gunners have started to take the upper hand.
While Mikel Arteta’s side have been challenging for the title in the last two seasons, Spurs have been undergoing a transitional phase under Ange Postecoglou.
This early season tie will be a great opportunity for both sides to set a marker for the new campaign, and earn bragging rights for the next few months.

When and where is the game?
The game will be hosted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The fixture is scheduled for a 2 pm kick-off.
How to watch Spurs vs Arsenal
Sky Sports customers can watch the game live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Coverage will start at 1 pm with pre-match build-up, and will continue after the final whistle with post-match analysis.
If you don’t have the Sky Sports package, you’ll have to wait for Match of the Day 2 to catch extended highlights.

Team news
The good news for Spurs fans is that both Dominic Solanke and Micky van de Ven are expected to be available after missing the previous game with injuries.
Meanwhile, Richarlison is thought to be 50/50 for the North London derby. The Brazilian has struggled for fitness of late, but could make the bench for the game.
As it stands, that is all that Tottenham have to worry about. For Arsenal, it’s a different story, though. The Gunners will definitely be without Declan Rice, who is suspended due to his red card against Brighton.
New signing Mikel Merino is injured, and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard suffered a twisted ankle on international duty, meaning Arteta’s midfield is severely depleted.
Riccardo Calafiori was released from international duty after picking up a knock on his calf, though the Italian’s injury may not be too serious. Gabriel Jesus is a doubt for the game, and will be assessed through this week.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney will definitely miss the game as they are some way off full fitness.
The Spurs Web prediction
This fixture is always so hard to predict as it’s more than just a concept of form and momentum; it’s one of the most mentally complex fixtures of the season.
The injuries to Arsenal, plus home advantage, definitely put us in a good position, but Arsenal can still hurt us. I’ll go for a 2-2 draw but hope for a win.
