Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to tonight’s team selection vs Brighton.
Spurs return to Premier League action following Thursday night’s surprise defeat to Royal Antwerp in the Europa League.
Mourinho has decided to drop Dele Alli, Carlos Vinicius and Steven Bergwijn completely from the squad while Erik Lamela, Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Eric Dier all start.
Brighton have not won in the league since their second game of the campaign and have been struggling to find the back of the net since.
Brighton are without skipper Lewis Dunk this evening, with the defender serving a suspension after his red card in the derby draw at Crystal Palace.
Tottenham have won each of their last four home league games against Brighton (including all three in the Premier League), since a 0-1 loss in October 1981.
