“Where’s Ndombele and Sess” – Some fans react to the Spurs team vs MK Dons

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to this evening’s team selection for the pre-season friendly fixture against MK Dons.

Nuno Espirito Santo has named a strong front three of Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn and Heung-min Son.

In a classy gesture to Dele, the midfielder captains Spurs against his former side and starts in a midfield which includes the highly-rated Nile John. In defence, Sergio Reguilon gets his first taste of action ahead of the new season.

Hugo Lloris and Ben Davies, who returned to Hotspur Way earlier this week following their involvement at Euro 2020 are named on the bench.

There was no place in the squad for Eric Dier and Harry Winks, who had both featured in the two previous friendlies against Leyton Orient and Colchester United, Tanguy Ndombele is still to feature following the birth of his new child.
