Tottenham Hotspur star striker Harry Kane, hobbled down the St Mary’s tunnel after 75 minutes against Southampton on New Year’s Day much to the horror of Spurs fans everywhere.
The forward stretched to tap home an equaliser against the Saints, injuring his left hamstring in the process, before the goal was ruled out for offside.
The Sun have now reported that Kane will now face four to six weeks on the sidelines in the latest in a long run of injuries for the England captain over the past couple of seasons.
The injury was sustained on January 1, meaning that six weeks would mark February 12.
So, which games will Kane potentially miss between now and then?
January 5 – FA Cup match against Middlesbrough away
January 11 – Premier League match at home to Liverpool
January 18 – Premier League match away to Watford
January 22 – Premier League match at home to Norwich
February 2 – Premier League match at home to Man City
Spurs will have their fingers crossed that their main striker can make it back in time for the two legs against RB Leipzig on the 19th of February and 10th of March. However, hamstring injuries can be unpredictable and he should only return when fully fit or run the risk of a setback
