Tottenham Hotspur have announced their 24-man squad which has made the trip to Australia.

Just hours after the club had wrapped up their Premier League campaign with a convincing 3-0 win against Sheffield United they boarded their flight to Melbourne.

As part of Part of Global Football Week Melbourne, Tottenham are facing fellow Premier League side Newcastle United at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in a post-season friendly on Wednesday.

The fixture marks a return to his home city for Ange Postecoglou, who took charge of the team for the first time on his home soil when we faced West Ham United in Perth last summer.

The trip marks the first time Under-21s midfielder Rio Kyerematen and Under-18s midfielder Leo Black have been part of the first-team squad.

Tottenham v Newcastle will kick-off at 10:45am and will be screened live on the club’s SpursPlay channel.

With Tottenham’s Under-21s having booked their place in the Premier League 2 play-off final having beaten Chelsea 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, it has likely meant that some of the crop of youngsters have remained back to focus on the upcoming fixture next weekend where they will face off against either Reading or Sunderland
