The Tottenham players have been spotted on the training pitches at Hotspur Way this afternoon as Igor Tudor prepares his side for their UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg tie against Atletico Madrid.

The Tottenham Hotspur players are now gearing up for the first leg of their round of 16 encounter with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

The two sides have met just once in history, and Spurs came out on top in the 1963 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup final, securing a 5-1 win.

Igor Tudor will be hoping for a similar outcome over the two legs as pressure on him continues to mount following a poor start as interim manager.

The first leg of this tie is set to take place at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium and, ahead of their trip to Spain, Tudor was seen putting his players through the paces at Hotspur Way in training.

The Croatian will know that securing a victory here will bode well for the confidence of his Tottenham side, who are winless in their last eleven outings in the Premier League and short of confidence.

With the clash against Atletico Madrid just a few hours away, a number Spurs players were involved in the latest training session, including Djed Spence.

The following players were spotted training: Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Kevin Danso, Cristian Romero, Djed Spence, Radu Dragusin, Souza, Conor Gallagher, Pape Matar Sarr, Joao Palhinha, Archie Gray, Xavi Simons, Richarlison, Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke,

For supporters wondering how to watch Atletico Madrid versus Tottenham Hotspur, the match is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, with kick-off set for 8.00 pm BST.

The game will be broadcast live in the United Kingdom on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports 3.
