The Sun have reported that Spurs are lining up a January move for exciting Middlesbrough prospect Nathan Wood. There are a number of clubs in for the centre-back including Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal.
Reportedly Burnley made a nine million offer for the prospect in the summer but were turned down. Clearly Spurs would need to spend decent money to land the relatively unproven player.

Spurs Web Opinion
The links with Wood are tenuous and he is still a long way off the first-team level at Spurs, however, he appears to have all the physical attributes to succeed at the top level so could be a good signing for the future. He would also help with the home-grown player quota.
