‘Who is this bloke?’ – Former Spurs chairman reacts to club’s appointment

Former Tottenham chairman and part-owner, Alan Sugar, is seemingly not impressed by the club’s decision to appoint Fabio Paratici as the new managing director of football.

Paratici’s arrival at Tottenham was officially confirmed a few days ago and the Italian admitted in an interview to Spurs TV that he is excited to get started at the club.

Daniel Levy also gave an interview to the club’s channel, explaining that he saw Paratici as an important part of Juventus’ success over the last decade and that he had known the 48-year-old for a long time.

The Spurs chairman also explained that all of the footballing operations will be handled by Paratici going forward, seemingly confirming reports that the 48-year-old’s role at Tottenham is going to be greater than that of a traditional director of football.

However, Levy’s predecessor certainly does not seem to think that the club have made the right choice by appointing the former Juventus man.
