‘Who knows where we might be’ – Micky Hazard on Ryan Mason’s tactical decision

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Micky Hazard has taken to Twitter after watching Ryan Mason’s side beat Sheffield United 4-0.

Mason, who was appointed as interim head coach until the end of the season decided to make changes to his attacking options following the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City with Gareth Bale and Dele Alli coming in for Lucas Moura and Harry Winks.

Bale stole the headlines with a brilliant hat-trick, which was his first in the Premier League since he netted a trio in a 4-0 victory at Aston Villa on Boxing Day 2012.

Hazard revealed that he has been hoping to see the front four of Dele, Kane, Son and Bale all season with Mourinho somewhat reluctant to play the quartet based on previous team selections.

The 61-year-old admitted that he has been left to wonder what the outcome could have been on Tottenham’s season if the four had been given more opportunities to play together.
