As Tottenham Hotspur played out their final home game of the season, the club gave out its end-of-season awards, with Harry Kane being the big winner.

It has been a disappointing season for the Lilywhites, with results and performances on the pitch being way below the standard expected.

There has been chaos off the pitch, too, with Antonio Conte leaving his role as manager back in March. His former assistant Cristian Stellini then lasted just four games before being dismissed and replaced by Acting Head Coach Ryan Mason.

Spurs fell to defeat against Brentford this afternoon at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a second-half performance that soured what could have been an uplifting end to the frustrating campaign.

Nevertheless, there is still some cause for celebration, with the club announcing its end-of-season award winners. To the surprise of no one, it was Kane who swept the Player of the Year awards.

Kane takes home the Official Supporters’ Clubs’ Player of the Season award, the One Hotspur Player of the Season award, and was named One Hotspur Juniors’ Player of the Season.

The club called the wins for Kane “thoroughly deserved.” In a season of much dismay for Spurs, Kane has still managed to be a shining light and has bagged 30 goals in all competitions (Transfermarkt).

Elsewhere, Heung-min Son won the Official Supporters’ Clubs’ Goal of the Season award for his goal against Brighton last month. You can watch that goal in the highlights from that game.

Spurs Web Opinion

No Spurs player has come anywhere close to the level of performances we have seen from Harry Kane this season so it’s no surprise he’s swept the lot.

Sonny’s goal was a corker, too, so there can be no complaints about him winning for that one.
