‘Why does Mason hate Ndombele’ – Some fans react to the Spurs team vs Sheffield United

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this evening’s Premier League match against Sheffield United in North London.

Tottenham have scored at least once in each of their last 10 Premier League games (W5 D2 L3), the longest current run in the competition.

The Blades beat Brighton 1-0 last time out in their first game since having relegation confirmed, they last won back-to-back league games in July 2020.

Spurs won the reverse fixture 3-1 and are looking to complete their first league double over Sheffield United since 1976.

Forty four of Spurs’ 56 goals have been scored or assisted by either Harry Kane or Son Heung-min.

Mason has decided to bring Dele Alli back into the starting eleven with Lucas Moura dropping down to the bench, there is also a start for Gareth Bale with Giovani Lo Celso playing in a deeper midfield role.

Tanguy Ndombele once again has to make do with a place among the substitutes.
